Promotional food marketing, for the Agriculture
and Horticulture Development Board.

The brief

To design inspiring marketing campaigns for various food marketing organisations to engage consumers and encourage them to purchase British foods they may not have previously considered.

Let's talk food marketing

What we did

We designed everything from recipe books and in-store posters to exhibition boards, branded cooks’ aprons and even van livery.

We produced campaigns for British Sausage Week, British Tomato Week, Pulled Pork and Glorious Gammon.

These campaigns were designed to inspire consumers to be creative when cooking and raise awareness of the Red Tractor scheme.

We created recipe booklets with mouth-watering photography, an easy-to-follow layout and unique recipe ideas – as well as posters to promote the campaigns in-store.

The supporting literature – competition/event leaflet, award certificates and banner stands – further enhanced these campaigns.

Client feedback

…We have worked with Lake Creative for a number of years now. We work primarily in the food sector and have thrown the full ‘English’ breakfast at them (from sausages to bacon, from tomatoes to reggae reggae sauce) and they have always responded on time and on brief.

They have also worked with us on a number of repeat campaigns (British Sausage Week and Bacon Connoisseurs’ Week – the same basic brief, but in need of a totally new ‘look and feel’ each time) and they have never failed to inject new levels of creativity and excitement.

I wholeheartedly recommend Lake Creative to anyone looking for that often needed, but not always delivered, ‘little bit extra’…
