The brief

Alex Gidman had an illustrious career as a professional Cricketer at both County and England level. However, as he was coming to the end of his career he decided to start his own specialist sports recruitment consultancy – which promotes the positive aspects of employing ex-players due to their drive and leadership qualities.

Alex started with just a concept; promote the leadership qualities of ex-sportsmen and women to the corporate world.

Our brief was to create a sports focused brand identity which would translate to the commercial world.

The project

Our design team created a strong brand identity using elements of Alex’s link to cricket including the G of Alex’s surname. We used the cricket ball stitching to create the idea of movement, yet strength and dependency.

Our digital team then took these elements to create a user-focused CMS website – populated with SEO content copy.

The result: a strong brand and a digital presence.
